HOW TO IDENTIFY A WOODEN JOIST CONDITION?

To identify a wooden joist in bad condition, look for signs of rot, insect damage, moisture infiltration. These include sagging or uneven floors, visible rot or decay, and loose or missing fasteners. Also, listen for creaking or popping sounds when walking on the deck or floor.

ROOF INSPECTION

A comprehensive inspection of electrical, gas, and water conduits was conducted in connection with the installation of new HVAC units. BALCONY & WINDOW ANCHORAGE INSPECTION FOR BUILDING RECERTIFICATION

Structural evaluation of balconies and window systems conducted as part of the required 40 Year Recertification process. The scope included evaluating the structural integrity of the balconies, assessing the hurricane protection systems, and inspecting window anchorage connections. We identified key deficiencies and provided engineered solutions to correct unsafe conditions, ensuring compliance with Florida Building Code requirements.
